It's seriously cool that you're a gamer. I'm assuming you've checked out the games on this site, lots of good ones here, especially the matrix slow-mo one and well, obviously Stick War, in my personal opinion.

Alright, welp, I hope to see ya around man! I'm not sure if it peaks your interest as much as gaming (epic as the games here are), but I highly recommend checking out the writing part of these forums! The community is... um... volatile, sometimes (that includes myself, to be fair), but they're all really good people when it comes down to it.

Specifically, a big theme on the forums is RHGs. Now, I'm gonna start all this off with the statement that you have maybe and probably already checked this out. Either way, please bear with me here. I tend to ramble a bit with text in situations like this. You get to make your own character, original or otherwise (I'd aim for "original," personally, but it's all up to you and what you find most enjoyable for your own character). The fun bit, yeah, spending hours upon hours of work to write something up has something fun involved, I was a bit skeptical of this myself, but bear with me here:
Is that you're battling people with this character. These people will have done the same thing as you, making their own character. The big catch here is that you're both tasked with telling the story of the battle separately. After both of you are finished, you post the results together, and have the community vote to decide which one gets to be canon. That's just one way to battle, there's lots of other stuff you can do with your character as well.

Normally these battles are done through animations (RHG). However, if animating's not your style, you can do the same thing through writing with wRHGs. These are literally text-based characters with the same idea in mind, except battles are done through written stories instead of animations. Either way, you seem like someone who would be really chill with this sort of thing, so please do consider it!
