Guys, I need an opinion: this game has come at an impasse because of DoctorNoob1's absence. It's an extraordinary situation because the trial basically dictates how this game ends. I do not know how else to resolve this other than to rule it in favor of smile simply because if Drizzle did not have her character's ability the score would be 2-3. But I cannot reopen discussion because the Despair Bat was used.


What do you want to happen guys? I can try to find another "player" but ultimately it will either tie the votes or kill smile. Can I get some opinions?


EDIT: I know we're suppose to deal with it, but in the very least I'm trying not to kill the momentum of this game. If I can find someone less busy than Exile I'll do it.

After consulting the Japanese rulebook many times, the solution to resolving ties is to believe it or not...vote for someone else.

It'd be pretty unfair for me and Person if you ask everyone else which method to employ because it'd be pretty obvious how it'd go.

I also love how people kept implying shit when it's class trial and nobody's supposed to discuss. Special circumstances should only excuse you guys to answer questions instead of saying shit like

Well now that's not it says at the beginning of the game. You can't really adding new rules as the game progress. Like I know that someone went inactive in this game but it doesn't change the fact that the votes are tied. So why don't we just go with the original rule instead? I doubt it would be a tie if you mentioned the actual rules at the beginning or even just before the class trial.

I misread the translation :( I thought it was just the two. Instead, it was anything BUT the two :(

Anyways. I really dont wanna do it so I'd rather it be coin toss. Unless you believe that a recount will yield a diff result. We've held up the game as it is already.

For the record, this is really dumb. I don't feel like playing anymore because I feel like whatever happens tonight will have a large effect on the rest of the game and it's either decided by a coin toss or voting for someone else, but I'll keep playing and trying out of respect for Hewitt.
