Since Russias invasion of Georgia I've been thinking. What if we have another war on our hands? Think about hoe WW1 started. Big country invades/punishes little country and look what it turned into? Sure Russia hasn't really officially taken Georgia but still.

A post on /b/ brought up an incredible point. Though this point would really only be effective to those who think this isn't a war for oil or any super-conservative ideals on thw ar.

It took less than 3 days for Russia to bring down a European country.

It takes America almost 7 years to bring down a poor 3rd world country.

I don't know if this is going to turn into another world war, but I doubt that. More likely is another Kosovo refugee-like situation, the area that Russia is "supporting" is a breakaway area like Kosovo was, Georgia may attempt to ethnically cleanse the area before they lose it entirely. . . which would be bad.
