Hi guys, I've recently started playing a lot of Crown of Inamorta and I've come up with a few strategies. Generally, I play on Insane with a Miner Avatar and don't use Gems. I'm posting on the Crown in particular since there do not seem to be too many videos or guides about it.

I have not yet devised a good strategy for Gold Rush, but I only lose to Cyrus in Barricade and my strategies for Super Death Match, Death Match, and Classic have beaten Cyrus, Wesley, Z4CK, and Crazy Jay several times without failing (thus I labelled them foolproof). I have included my thoughts on point investment, unit control, and build order.

Match Types:

  • Deathmatch
  • Super Deathmatch
  • Barricade
  • Gold Rush
  • Classic

Terminology:

  • A = Archer
  • S = Spearton
  • W = swordWrath
  • G = Giant
  • K = magiKill
  • M = Miner

Super Death Match: Foolproof Strategy

Stat Points:

  • Max Spearton
  • Max Archer
  • Max Miner
  • Statue Gold 3
  • Statue Archidon 3
  • 1 Point Remaining

Build Order:
2S, 3A, 2S, 4A, 4M, 2S, 3A, 2M

Death Match: Foolproof Strategy

Stat Points:

  • Max Spearton
  • Max Archer
  • Max Miner
  • Statue Gold 3
  • Statue Archidon 3
  • 1 Point Remaining

Build Order:
2S, 3A, 2S, 3A, 2S, 3A, 1S, 3A, 4M, 2S, 3A

Classic: Foolproof Strategy

Stat Points:

  • Statue Gold 3
  • Max Miner
  • Max Archer
  • Spearton Shield 3

Build Order:
1A, 4M, S, A, 2M
If they open with 1W, 1A then do not attack them. If they open with 3W then attack with a controlled Archidon.

Barricade:

Stat Points:

  • Statue Gold 3
  • Max Miner
  • Max Archer
  • Spearton Shield 3

Build Order:
Comfortable: 6M, 4A, 4S, 4A
Crazy: 4M, 2A, 1S
Cyrus seems to be able to break through insanely fast.

Gold Rush:

Stat Points:
???

Build Order:
???
The first event is always a Swordwrath vs Swordwrath duel. Win this one and you are in a position to 2v1, 3v1, 4v1 the other enemy Swordwrath. Then you can kill the retreating Miners and ensure a significant advantage. Losing the initial 4v4 generally leads to defeat.

Unit Control:

Spearton Control:

  1. Vs Magikill: Two strong backstabs or a frontal spear toss will kill the Magikill. Advance directly towards the Magikill along a horizontal line.
  2. Vs Giant: Advance horizontally towards the giant along the edges of the map. This will allow you to get behind the giant. Toss a spear into the giant for 800 damage after the giant uses its club or dead body as a weapon. Do NOT attempt a throw after the giant stomps.
  3. Vs Spearton: Wait until the Spearton is running away from you - whether toward your archers or into their base - and throw for a 920 damage backstab.
  4. Against all other units, the Spearton should only be used to stall or turn around opponents, thus allowing an Archidon formation to perform backstabs.
  5. Against a massive attacking force, try to spread out your Speartons to ensure that nobody runs past.

Swordwrath Control:

  • Vs Miners: OHKO with a backstab jump attack that deals 216 damage.
  • Vs Archidons: Advance while blocking, open with a frontal jump attack for 108 damage. Continue with standard attacks until target perishes. Very risky.
  • Vs Swordwrath and Minions: Open with a frontal jumping attack. Whoever executes this the fastest wins the duel. In rare cases, a second swing is necessary to kill the opponent. This can be very dangerous, especially if the first jumping attack overshoots a bit and requires you to turn around.
  • Against Mages, Giants, and Speartons, the Swordwrath should serve only as bait.

Any improvements or alternative strategies would be greatly appreciated. I wonder if I should experiment with Swordwrath avatar just to take on Gold Rush Cyrus ...

Nice guide. I don't think Swordwrath Avatar is required, that's just a bit of an overkill in my opinion. Spear or Archidon avatars are also solid.

Do you have a strategy for Insane Gold Rush Cyrus? He's ridiculously powerful in this particular level.

When he controls a Swordwrath, all of his attacks are jumping attacks aimed at my Miners' backs for a ridiculous 300 damage. (A max-upgraded player Swordwrath does 216 on a backstab.) Additionally he likes to block my AI swordsmen while his own swordsmen wreck me.

Any tips?

Hmm, that's an idea. I'll try it out the next time I see him. He's beaten me in Gold Rush at least 10 times today. Even Insane LVL 11 No Upgrades is easier than this (though I had an excellent AsePlayer guide for that).

Haha, he has trolled me more than any other character in video games.

Lol, I tried out a Swordwrath avatar a few times, it's rapidly proven to be my favorite.

I have beaten everyone on Barricade and Classic with Swordwrath Avatar, Max Miner, Max Swordwrath, and Castle Archer +2. They simply can't beat the rapid training speed. If they try to rush me, my Miners and cheap Swordwrath create so many Castle Archers that it's equivalent to an instant Archer Clan. If they play defensive, I can run up and kill their Miners almost instantly.

I've beaten everyone in Gold Rush except the elusive Cyrus.

Giants seem to be the best avatar for Death Match and Super Death Match, Swordwrath is best for Barricade and Classic.

In Super Death Match and Death Match, it's useless, sadly.

After the Sword and Pick Challenge, I realized just how overpowered a user-controlled Swordwrath is. I have created a build that can defeat every single challenger on Gold Rush, Classic, and Barricade. (After weeks of trying, I finally got lucky and encountered Cyrus in Gold Rush. This strategy beat him.)

Build:
Swordwrath Avatar
Max Swordwrath
Max Miner
Statue Archer 2

Gold Rush:
Anytime you can, order more Swordwrath. Start by using your user-controlled Swordrath to pick off as many enemy miners as possible, while using your remaining 3 swordwrath to stall their 3 swordwrath. Look at your population count. If it drops to 14 or below, this means your swordwrath have died and you should garrison. Continue to pick off their miners and dodge enemy attacks. Kill the rightmost miners first - better to let them train a Spearton later rather than a Swordwrath now. Eventually gain an economic dominance and crush them.
