I've never first-hand met a religious person who is that ridiculous. I have with atheists, though.
This is why I hate atheists

You should fix that thread title.
"This Is hy I hate Militant Atheists"
Of course they're going to be uppidity dicks, they're militant atheists, the key word is MILITANT, which is a small group of the whole "atheist community". That's a bit of a generalization. And it's the first time I've heard atheists really get upset over a game but count how many time christianity/christian people got involved with a game and you'd get a staggering ratio between the two.

Those people aren't Atheists, those people are just mean people that hate other people.

That's ****ing stupid. Religion is a huge part of culture, and the inclusion of religions in the game is a very smart move.
Those people are the idiots who think that religion isn't an important part of history, and that it isn't a part of civilization. They should be ignored.

Ooooooohhh here we go with the Christian hate again. (there are other religions out there than Christianity. The whole "Christian hate" thing got old ages ago). Religious people don't hate the religious part of a game, they hate things like violence and drinking etc. But they don't ever care about the game from a religious point of view. They never get upset over a game misrepresenting their religion. Does the Muslim community deserve to be upset by their portrayal in games such as CoD4 and Battlefield:BC? To an extent, I think they do deserve to be a little dissatisfied. Are they upset? Not to my knowledge they aren't. For an atheist to look at a game that puts you in God's shoes and have their first thoughts be "wow, this is pro-intelligent design" is ridiculous. As far as I am concerned, atheisism is a religion. They always have a rod up their ass when it comes to mentioning religion, like with the pledge of allegiance and the dollar bill. I know I am generalizing a lot here, but some of it is true. I think the ratio of atheist nuts to total number of atheists is far higher than that of religious nuts to total number of religious people. Obviously I understand that not all atheists are nuts, however.

I thought that BF:BC was full of Ruskies, not Hajjis.

I wasn't hating on christians, I never do. However I hate the ones that feel like they should impose their values on someone esle. I was just pointing out the generalization of atheists. I don't generalize christians and I'm just assuming you're a bit christian.Quote from Dragon077Ooooooohhh here we go with the Christian hate again. Don't generalize me and I won't generalize you is all I'm saying. The title was just misleading.

Except, you know, the part where they whined about evolution.

Actually, there have been plenty of religious people up in arms over the fact that the game involves evolution. The thing is, there haven't been many atheistic games released that they can get angry about.
But they don't ever care about the game from a religious point of view. They never get upset over a game misrepresenting their religion. Does the Muslim community deserve to be upset by their portrayal in games such as CoD4 and Battlefield:BC?
Most of the religious games that have been released are ones developed by christian companies like Wisdom Tree.
To an extent, I think they do deserve to be a little dissatisfied. Are they upset? Not to my knowledge they aren't.
In the middle east, very few games are developed. Most of their games come from America. That means that most of their military-themed games involve the killing of their own people. The reaction to this has been made by the government far more than the religious officials. part of the response is the development of games involving the killing of their enemies, such as Under Ash

I agree. I love Black and White, for example.
As far as I am concerned, atheisism is a religion.
No matter what you say, atheism alone is NOT a religion. MILITANT Atheism may be called a religion, though "dogma" is a far more accurate word.
They always have a rod up their ass when it comes to mentioning religion, like with the pledge of allegiance and the dollar bill.
Atheist don't have a rod up their ass when mentioning religion. Those are both example of the government PROMOTING religion.
I know I am generalizing a lot here, but some of it is true. I think the ratio of atheist nuts to total number of atheists is far higher than that of religious nuts to total number of religious people. Obviously I understand that not all atheists are nuts, however.
As miniman said, you should notice the difference between militant atheism and just atheism.

hahahahaha I'm not Christian.
Anyways, clearly I made this thread with the wrong mindset. I don't want to start a debate...

Instead, lets hug and discuss how awesome Spore is gonna be.

Hell yeah. It looks like a great game. Although, the creature creator actually lowered my expectations. It didn't seem as creative as I thought it would be.

How so?
Only problem I found was that it's too much like clay. Like if you want a sharp arch in the neck you're gonna do a lot of "molding". And that the animations for the legs don't always look perfect. Especially when you make a HL2 strider and tell it to sit. It looks cool though, big bendy legs.

It was all too....symmetrical. I dunno. I can't really put my finger on what I didn't like.

Symmetry...we must do something about symmetry.
: D
Maybe because there were hardly any parts? Unless I heard right and the full version is out.
