So Genesis is a no-go. Had some dumb Army stuff come up and kinda got screwed for time. I didn't want to rush the animation because I really like the story I came up for it and would like to use it in a future project where I can hopefully make something that I'm satisfied with. Anywho onto my current project: Witch Queen's Wrath! Just like Hot Steel, this hot son of a bitch is going to be animated in just about two weeks. Shooting for at least 90 seconds, but I think I might be able to manage 120. The artwork is going to be super simple much like Hot Steel's was, but I'm going with a different style here. I'm also going to be trying out some new effects, angles, and overall flow. I feel like Hot Steel was way too quick at times and way too slow at others, and so with this I'm going to try to do a much better job with that. There won't be too much story going on, either. The animation will meet the theme, but the story is going to be pretty open for interpretation. I'll be sure to leave some bread crumbs along the way to help you all out.
March 2nd - 8 seconds of base animation, not including introductions or simplified story-telling through tweens.
March 5th - Roughly 30 seconds. Went ahead and added the intros which is about half of the overall length right now, but they were necessary to get the timing on the song right as well as to take off pressure towards the end with trying to edit a large file. It's looking like I might be able to use the entirety of the song, which means we're looking at 2~ minutes. Hopefully the simplistic art style with the backgrounds will let me focus more on the animation and some neat effects.
