A slightly different form of posting this time; neither a straight forfeit, nor a straight battle.

See, Piston's been out of contact for about a week, and so I've decided to post my part on the deadline date, and then give him two days to bring forward his part. If he does, I'll edit the post and add a poll. If not, I'll call it a time-based forfeit.

Hell of a cliffhanger you've got there! Another great work, really enjoyed how you played with Jack's manner of speaking, and the use of other languages brought the characters alive! Can't wait to see what's next!
