Greetings fellow writers. I come before you once again, emerging from obscurity.

To those who do not know me, you will soon find out that I am not that special and thus have no reasoning for bringing it up.

Anyways, back to the topic at hand, I have a common writer condition that has been named: World Building Syndrome. This problem is when a writer spends all his time fleshing out the world and its mechanics and its backstory but never really gets to write the story that fits in with the created world and thus the whole project gets scrapped.

This flaw in my writing I have reluctantly accepted and thus we come down to the reason this thread exists. I have created a world, still bare-bones and not awfully detailed (YET) and wanted to present it to you, the trolls that you are, and give it as a kind of resource.

This post serves multiple purposes.
1. Any of you can use the world and create stories within it.
2. You can discuss and suggest changes to the world that I have created and I will read through everything that gets presented.
3. If you have ideas to expand it or add more detail or history or backstory or geography or... etc etc, you may talk about it as well.
4. You can tear it apart, which is what most of you will do anyway, and just point out every flaw within it. Which is 100% fine with me as well.

This is by far not the finished project. If the concepts I introduce inspires your own worlds, that'll be great. If enough people contribute and expand this world I may introduce this as a community project that everyone writes stories for.

Without further a-do, here is the information.

Magic System
Nations
Races
School Subjects

EDIT: I decided to split up the different things about the world so whomever wants to focus on something specific they can.

Wow

Can I use this world for a story that I have been almost chomping at the block to write?

Of course. This is open source. Let me know if you want me to help you work on certain aspects of it so I can expand it as well.

Well One thing that I want you to add into this world is dungeons.

Dungeons are a key point in some RPG's

Also kobolds. They should be listed under dragon spawn. Great trap makers and very clever.

I think GreekGladiator should see this, since his gladiator controls four classic elements; fire, water earth and wind, and one "not-so-classic" element; lightning.

Got ya here. If I am ever very bored to do something else, I will definetely check this out. Right now, the mere size of this makes me not want to read this. Rest assured though that I got this on my to-do-list.

Well, I wasn't aiming for it to be a DnD world. However I did consider maybe using it rather as a Table Top RPG-esque game but haven't thought about it that much. Thus dungeons and Kobolds would be more DnD tabletop than actual fantasy world.

This is what I wanna do next. Which countries are how with whom and who are the major players in the world, who is at odds with whom and how they all interact. When I add more detail to the map I was planning on adding details of cities and castles and other important landmarks. Thanks for the input
