Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed this battle. It was great fun to write, and fun to read yours as well. This just had to happen, and I'm so glad it did.

@everyone:

As you'll notice, there are a couple points in these battles that Veir and I both used more or less. We did write these without talking to each other, but several months back had discussed generally what particular things might happen.

This was a hella good battle. I'm so glad we decided to do it. No matter who wins this I'm gonna love using the winner's as a canon outcome.

First to vote, that's also a first for me.

Anyways, as I said in chat, I enjoyed both of these quite a bit. Neither was longer than they had to be, both had plenty of enjoyable stupid action. Veir's sacrifices narrative for just dumb fun, while Alph's sets a more serious tone but it's a bit jarring when you suddenly get pulled out of it with greasy oil space niggahs. Then again, if you make less plot, you run less chance of making mistakes (looking at you, Veir).

I did enjoy Veir's more, and I'd argue his manages to get the edge on Alph's when it comes to pacing, so Veir gets my vote.

I loved both of these.

While I enjoyed the levity and pacing of Veir's story more, the overall fight and characters(at least to me) were more enjoyable in Alph's story. While the oil surfing and bar fight were a dope scenes, I'm gonna give my vote to Alphaeus.

Still, it's fights like these that really inspire me. Great work to the both of you!
