The old ones were nothing but bad special effects and horrible, cheesy acting. You can tell the directors/producers cared nothing for the genre (unlike modern zombie movie directors), and were doing nothing but looking for a quick buck.

Besides, they were all in black and white. Honestly, who cares about black and white movies anymore? Those were all shitty.
