The only problem I can see with SW Legacy 2 would be how they simulate right and left click on a flat phone screen.

If they can overcome that (which they most likely will) then I see no reason why they would continue with a desktop format at all.

Mobile is far more lucrative, a larger audience and on top of that any ideas they had for SE could be implemented in a mobile format.

Maybe I'm too skeptical but the lack of dev interaction on SE and these forums suggests that SE is a very low or not a priority at all.

Well it's not like they're working on a million Stick War Mobile games either. They're just straight up on a different project not even related, and they wanna see to it that it gets finished.

I know. As said before I'm enjoying Legacy and I personally hope that it is the future of the Stick war/ Stick empires series.

I think stick war has its spots for mobile but def not the exclusive future of stick war. I'd be pretty disappointed with that.

Do you think SE will get updates?

I'm not sure it's been over a year now. I am personally hoping for a good mobile variation of the game hopefully a bigger audience (Larger potential player base and monetary opportunity) than SE will incentiveise the devs.

I do argree with you that SE is a fantastic game. I just don't see it (future content happening) Future Legacy content I do see happening.

I don't see a reason to keep running the flash model, it's clearly dying and will continue to do so, racking in a lower player base regardless of how many updates it receives.

A better engine/graphics package would be awesome and yes long term flash games are not going to compete with better engines.

However the game isent dying/not maximiseing its player base/ losing players due to it being in flash is it?

If that's the case then why don't they remake it on mobile? Because equally mobile looks like the future of gaming particularly for smaller developers.

I'm not arguing with the points you have raised. I just hope that they continue down a different path i.e. Legacy. As I like the stick series but I'm not convinced the devs want to come back to SE with all its problems.

My opinion is that the devs won't comeback to SE and as a fan but a realistic fan I want this series to continue. Legacy I think is the best form of the game in terms of getting NUMBERS of fans in.

I don't know why the devs haven't updated the game. Which is problem number 2 communication. They are not required to do anything for us. However I would like in a ideal world a forum post explaining honestly and realistically what their plans are also explaining why they have left SE like it for over 2 years now.

The reason why there aren't as much players as there used to be is because of lack of updates. The game was amazing 3 years ago when the game was getting frequent updates. You finish Stick War Legacy then what? Play the whole thing all over again?
