Well, Im somewhat new here.

I've known about Stick Page for awhile, and have just spent the majority of my time lurking the forums and watching the various animations here without contributing to anything. Mainly because I couldn't afford Flash 5/MX/8 (I didn't want to get the trial because I would hate to get familiar with something enjoyable, then have it ripped away from me after such a short amount of time) and Easytoon/Pivot never really "clicked" with me. Yes, I am extremely picky about the programs I use ;)

Recently though, I managed to scrape up enough money to buy a little something extra for myself. I remembered some of the amazing stuff I saw on here and figured "hell, might as well take a shot at it", so I snatched up a copy of Macromedia Flash Professional 8.

I read/watched quite a few tutorials in the first few days I had it, so I daresay I understand the bare basics (Key frames, motion tweening, layers, essential things like that), but yet, its no fun when you don't have anyone to show off your animations too and critique/be critiqued.

So, yeah, welcome or not, Im glad to finally be able to get started in this community, and Im hoping to eventually get to the point where I can animate in such a way that I (and other people) can enjoy whatever ideas I breathe some life into.

Oh, almost forgot. Im a 16 year old male who enjoys Punk Rock, Folk Music, Industrial Punk and Thrash Metal. My hobbies include sleeping, gaming, writing, doodle'ing, being bitch-slapped by girls I hit on and just chilling out like the lazy bastard I am.
