I'm not sure if it's a rule, aniguy, but it's helpful. It's so that people can understand your posts. We don't really want a bunch of kids running around posting things like, "omg dude ur animson is teh bom!!!:) :( :confused: :p ;) :D :o :rolleyes: :cool: :eek: ".

More or less you can use then VERY sparingly, this is a forum not a chat room so you can sit and think about your reply.....

Yah dude, not like it's fatal if you say "lol","thx" or "gj" or something.
