Okay, so I was laying down last night, trying to ride out the insomnia, and I start thinking about why we run out of space on computer storage devices.
I don't see how things like disks and hard drives work, as all they do is store letters and numbers, right? I mean, it stores virtual data but can only hold so much until it hits the physical limit. I just don't get it.
tl;dr: I'm wondering how storage devices (disks, hard drives, etc) work.
