Can you make the music continue to play smoothly between scenes? In any form?

When I try, it either starts over or lags for a second before continuing (like if i put it in a symbol and use code).

I hope there is a better and smoother way.

I dont know anything about this but how about you cut the song whre your scene ends and add to the second scene the second half of the song

Well I just did a test then with no graphics and it still lagged by about a second.

Are you sure the song file itself doesn't have space at its end?

You can also try lowering the sound quality in export settings.
