Practice with layers, backgrounds, easing, explosions, details etc...
Animate slowly and carefully.

Was fine though.

I don't know really... I think I'd give it over 5 / 10 It's still kinda stiff and some movements are too fast. You still have to work a lot on special effects and other design elements.

The sounds were annoying.

hmm I actually liked it man. sure, it needs improvement in almost all areas, but you have the right spirit and idea with this.
