View Profile I've only watched Army of darkness, best film ever.
It was when I watched it, but thinking back on it, it's nowhere near as funny. It's a film that sucks to talk about but is so freaking awesome to watch.

While it's probably the most straight entertaining, I always liked Evil Dead II better. I also have a bit of a soft spot for The Evil Dead, seing as it was just so incredibly well-made.

View Profile I saw the first evil dead with my cousin on a whim when I was about 12 years old, thinking it would be a great horror movie.

"Listen up you primitive screwheads! You see this? This... is my BOOMSTICK! It's a double-barreled Remmington, S-Mart's top-of-the-line. You can find it in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. YOU GOT THAT!?!"
All from memory.

You sir, are a freak.
A very cool one at that.
I remember that move, it was awesome. I watched it quite a few times when my dad recorded it with the TiVo on a whim.

View Profile ah, remembering those movies is always fun. Btw, i'm guessing most of you have already noticed, but in The Evil Dead (first one) Bruce's friend's hair goes from short to long and back to short within a minute, you have to watch carefully though.

View Profile That's like that thing in Die Hard where Bruce Willis' shirt changes color.

That's because it's a low-budget movie.
In many scenes, they are using different actors for certain shots. They did this on days the regular actors were sick. The director calls these stand-ins "Fake Shemps".

View Profile Evil Dead 2 was great laughs and instantly made Bruce Campbell my hero.
Army of Darkness topped it off.
now Bruce plays in Burn Notice where he is still comedic and bad ass.
