I'm not a big music person but I find it nice to listen to music when I'm on my computer, so what I'm looking for are instrumentals, or at least songs where the focus is more on the instruments. Songs with pleasant, mellow tones.

Please to me reccomend some.

To add on to that: Motionless, This Will Destroy You, and Mogwai. Also Andy Mckee and Don Ross are great for acoustic guitar.

And John Butler Trio is great but I don't think that's really what he was asking for.
