What's multi-threading?
I heard it just now on the news, the onyl thing it said was something about closing a page without closing the whole browser. OH GEE, YOU MEAN TABS?

Chrome includes an Incognito mode (similar to Safari's Private Browsing and Internet Explorer 8's InPrivate) which "lets you browse the web in complete privacy because it doesn’t record any of your activity" and discards cookies. When enabled for a window "nothing that occurs in that window is ever logged on your computer"[1]
Sounds cool, but I would not trust my privacy with Google.

But didn't they also give out all of their searches done by everyone when the government asked for it?

I'm sure that was AOL.

You sure? Could have sworn they did.

It's actually beyond multi-threading, it uses multiple processes. This means if one site crashes, only that tab will close. Or, if a plugin crashes, only that plugin will close. I'll be interested to see how much faster they can make JavaScript run; it's a pain to have a page freeze mid-load because some JavaScript is fetching information, although now that won't be problem as it'll be running separately of the renderer.
Wish I didn't have work today, then I could fully test it out...
