My school will never learn how to properly function as a community focused on learning due to the retards that decide to administrate the building. I've already given this community 2 threads outlining why my school is a huge screaming death trap for the mind and intelligence. I've given you a thread about cameras, and how they're okay, but the students actually protest about the minuscule matter. I've given a thread about a hacker, who last summer tore into our network system, which used to be Novell, with a program pirated from either Warez, or the Pirate Bay. (hint hint, miniman.) And got in shitloads of trouble, charges pressed, and permanent expulsion. Now remember how the student who cracked the system got expelled, fined, and forever shit on by the district due to his constant idiocy? Well now the shit has hit a fan, and is now all over the students of PMSD. Our faculty actually did this: They denied every student computer access for the first week of school, hindering loads of computer science and programming classes. They refused to give us the log-in names, until we complete an online powerpoint presentation about the new, super****ingstrict policy that now constricts the students to the point in which they can vomit their own organs. The Powerpoint or whatever program presentation, luckily, had an address bar on the top, linked on the PMSD website, and I was lucky enough to have a pen, paper, and the magical ability to copy it down while no ones looking. >_>

If you browse this entire slideshow, you'll see that they actually QUIZ YOU, a supervised student answering wioth other students, seemingly regurgitating what they just said, I guess, to prove you've learned it.

If you browse it even more, you'll see that these questions are not only ridiculous, the pictures are fag to the max, and the fact that they think this actually STOPS me from playing games on the computer, or going on these forums when I've done my work. >:((((((

The worst part is, you need a signed permission slip. I'm almost 18, and I need a ****ing PERMISSION SLIP to use the ****ing internet for research, when ALL they need to do is stop applications or hacking programs from being able to be activated. OSHIT they already did that! So what the **** is the point of me annoying my parents about signing a paper, handing it in, OR ELSE i can't do half my school work, when there is absolutely no threat on their side, nor is there any ability to go on websites like this anymore at school, nor are we able to use flash, java, or other "not education-related" computer-related things!

Seriously. Have your schools done anything as ****nutting insane as my school did? Because in my book, this is probably tops in the "ridiculous over-reactions" subject of events in my life.

No one at our school did anything bad, so they decided to lock every website except Wikipedia and Google. [Not literally, but you get what I mean.] Some don't allow you access. Others quarantine your computer for 5 minutes. No internet connection and it logs where you were trying to go. Get 3 quarantines and you get in trouble.

Oh shiz man. that sucks ass. At my school, my teacher only blocked youtube and sites with inappropriate content. I can still can get on stickpage, google, etc. (I remember one of my friends put a virus via usb flash drive onto one of the library cpu's. took 'em 4 weeks to get it off)

Oh come on. Since when were computers necessary for a learning environment? It's true that some computer based classes require them, but the internet at school is not required by any means.

Yo if theyr'e teaching you all this stuff it just means you know more when you eventually hack it.

Schools rarly have an insight into what the internet is really like, they seam to think it's full of child rapists, ect, ect. Over here we can't use google.com and searches must be done with the school search which basicly searches the 4 sites that are allowed wikipedia got blocked aswell. I got a 6 month ban from the school computers for connecting to their wireless to check my emails.
