It looks nice, but I don't like how the hollow mask appears, as the hand doesn't cover the whole face, it doesn't look realistic. I suggest using some effect there. Liek a black smoke or w\e.

I just wanted to explain something, but lag just did it for me.

Try to not make the mast cover more then what he covers with his hand. What I mean is, try to make the mask fully appear when his hand also went by his face. So yea, you did it so that the mast was already 90% but his hand was still at the middle of his face. Its a very small thing, but if you do it like that it gives a better effect I think.

And a bit wobbly, and VERY short (I know its not finished but still) nice though hope you continue

Its not a story change. Its a filler, fillers are just things to keep the people amuzed while they continue and try to extend the real story for a while (so that it doesn't end that quick, or so that they can do some more planning) Bleach and naruto do that ALOT of freaking times.

But yea.

About the anim, the mask appaers still the samish but its nice. Although looks like more wobbly ness? Try to keep the arms the same lvl under the head (It like relocates all the time)

Yea they just changed the plot ,and then going back to ''Real'' life. I hope they make it normal though >:C like realistic, I mean the dude had trouble defeating grimjow and he is #6, but im pretty sure when he ''believes'' he suddenly has the power to defeat the number 4# and 3# ._. they did that a few times.
