Space

This seems pretty simple, but i dont really understand it. Outer space, or the space between planets, is it made of anything? (atoms/ molecules) or is it basically nothing? Because if its nothing it doesnt seem that possible to me. Enlighten me.

There are very low concentrations of hydrogen atoms scattered around in space.
