It looks pretty awesome to me. I like all the effects.
Only thing I would sugest is to not blur the buildings as much. Still blur them, but I think its overused.

Nice idea, but you can see that the impact explosion is just pasted over the buildings, doesn't work for me...

It's alright, but it seems you went a little overboard with effects. The whole blurred red and orange shit is too intense. The explosion in the foreground seems like it was just pasted on indeed, specifically the smoke. You need to integrate it into the area, so it looks real.
