Im going to be working on my second animation and it's two sticks fighting. I want to know if i should draw the two sticks on seperate layers or on the same layers.

Do it however you like it. I personally like it on different layers, and name the layers accordingly. Just make sure that you are on the right layer when you do things. It gets to be a pain when you accidentally put things on the wrong layer.
