Any ideas on what to do?

Contact Steam , do a uninstall - re install , restart your pc . Get a better graphics card , more ram (memory) . Go to control panel , Appearance and Themes , Screen resoulation make sure colour quality is highest (32bit or 64 or mabey higher)

Okai thats all I can think of at the moment

I have enough memory, color is at 32bit, graphics card might be it, but I pass the minimum settings requirements with it.

Try this:

"Delete or rename the file: C:\program files\steam\steamapps\\team fortress 2\tf\tf2_playerstats.dmx"
