Hey guys, fancy thread you got here. I tried my hand at making a boss with scripting and all that and this is what it came to. I call it Lowball, or underestimation. I wouldn't let the small size fool you, it's got plenty for you to watch out for. It is a considerably easy fight, but it got me warmed up to how things work in this game and I'm going to try making some more complex bosses. Anyways, I present Lowball.

I didn't really want to go breaking the rules on my first post, but I suspect the rule is there to stop spammers and all that. I'll edit this with the download link once I'm done fixing some event errors that arose.

Don't worry about it, you aren't breaking any rules.

As you guessed, that system is only in place to stop advertising bots and spammers. If you legitimately have something to share you aren't in any risk.


Also, lots of cool looking new bosses here, I'll try and get around to reviewing some soon.

Okay guys, I've been gone for a bit (school).
But to compensate, I've made a huge boss pack. This boss pack will be harder then my previous ones.

Abyss
This was based on Rather Cheesy's bosses. It can take quite a bit to take down, but once you learn it's pattern, he's a cakewalk. Untill then...... (advanced)

Epidemic
This Space-Virus is powerful for it's size. It's Viral Tenticals are it's only vulnerable point. When it is destroyed, it splits into small versions of itself. (advanced-expert)

Grand Cross
This boss has some of the same mechanics as Helios (see below). It is overall, quite difficult, but still fun to fight. (Expert)

Hellhound Weapon Platform
This guy is the fraxy version of a hover-tank. I like how this turned out. Search out a flaw in it's armor and destroy it. But, it carries a very large flamejet weapon. (advanced)

Icarus Gunship
A nice little creation. Similar mechanics as the Hellhound. Find a weak point and destroy it. (advanced)
I've also created 2 bosses inspired by the metal gear series. Neither of them are directly from the game but were inspired by it. Both of them are (advanced-expert)

Ozma
Based on a FF9 boss. This thing just flys around erraticaly and blows the hell out of you with lots of firepower. (expert)
Sentinel MK2
Basically a much more agressive version of the original. It's satellites now chase you down instead of fly around harmlessly. (advanced)

Slicer Jet
A weird little creation. Lots of blades and slow rays. (intermediate-advanced)

Space Colony
Another fight with similar mechanics to Helios. Quite simple and easy. (intermediate)

Space Fortress Helios
This is the "icon" of this boss pack. First off you have to destroy it's "layers" to advance. It also has quite a big gun and a
challange factor that rivals it's size. Good luck, you'll need it. (Godly)

------------WEAPONS--------
My weapon section of the pack. These bosses are inspired from a certain RPG series. All save one of them were thought up by me. These are incredibly hard bosses designed for Fraxys elite of the elite. Some are designed to puzzle you, while others are designed to put your dodging skills to the test. These guys are WAY overpowered compaired to other bosses, enough to get their own difficulty (WEAPON). However, they usually have an achilles heel. They all have some critical flaw in some way. You would be a madman not to use shield and decoy.


Amethyst Weapon
Okay, this thing moves very quick and will pwn you with it's tail if you don't keep your distance. Other then that, it's pretty straightforward. Just for the love of god, don't get close. (WEAPON)

Emerald Weapon
This guy's attacks are generally faithful to the game. So is his HP. There's got to be something that will weaken him. Watch out for his signature move when he's almost dead. (WEAPON)

Morph Weapon
This is another pretty straightforward fight. However you musn't get trapped between the powerballs and the vulcan wall. One of the easier WEAPONs. (WEAPON)

Revolving Weapon
Woah, instant death if you get close, and no weak point to shoot from afar? Yup, this guy is 50% puzzle, 50% boss. Remember, heroic/suicidal acts don't always go to waste. (WEAPON)

Uber Weapon

This is it. This is the hardest of the WEAPONS. I went totally overboard on the guns, but it was the best way to create a hit-and-run battle. His back is his weakpoint. Good luck taking down this behemoth. (WEAPON)

It's name literally means "Royal" in German, and that's what it is. The Königlich was designed as a bodyguard ship when a figure of authority is moving around on a ship. It was designed to be as powerful as it is cheap. The Königlich is out fitted with lasers, which are it's premary weapons. However, because it is cheap, the armor is not very powerful, and the two turrets in the back are easily destroyed. Nevertheless, the Königlich has been in use for over 2 years now.

I thought I would make a ship, since I haven't made one in a while. I think I did an okay job with the balancing, but you can never be too sure. Now I'm going to try using events, since I have no clue how they work.

I liked it. When I first saw the aimed lasers, I thought you had ruined it, but when they actually fired I was impressed that they weren't impossible to dodge. I like how it shadows itself after a while, very well put together boss. :D

Once you figure out the weakness it all falls down. But it puts up a nice front though. 8/10

Beautiful, but easiest to kill. Should have made it one of the hardest. It would have been like 10/10 if it had like outer rings that broke off and revealed different spiralling patterns, But I cant imagine how long just doing this pattern took you it looks awesome!

Revolving Weapon
This is the most well rounded one I think. 8/10

Uber Weapon
Yeah, its weapon overload, but its still easy to kill, you got a little sloppy here methinks. 7/10

The first phase has a trick to it. Run away from the laser when you see it charging. The slowrays are more-or-less just a visual distraction. Don't be afraid to die a bit here, he's very hard.

It was difficult to make it work the way it does, and I was too tired to make it do more when making it. (it was 3 AM and finals were tommorow)

The Ameba Legion is a group of ragtag pilots who were originally a group of friends at an university, but became pirates after building space vessels, which they stole. Using the money from their raids, they continuously added more parts and made they vessels even more dangerous. The Legion consists of 4 scouts, which attempt to ram and slice opposition with their blades, 2 fighters, who are equipped with homing lasers and vulcans, and a mother ship, where all the firepower is located. The scouts should be eliminated first, for they are very annoying while you are trying to destroy the fighters or the mother ship. Then the fighters, then the mother ships. The Shield weapon is highly recommended when fighting against this Legion.

This was originally for me to test events, but it failed, and I just made it into a squad. It was pretty fun to build, and I played it a couple times and tweaked some areas.

Omega Wardroid MK.IV

This guy is really tough. He's armed to the teeth with new, state of the art weaponry. His arsenel includes: A shield-piercing magnetic disk, one particle cannon, 10 point defence guns, 2 cross defence guns, 2 antimatter generators, 4 missile launchers, and 2 proximity mines. Anyway, it's defence guns do a VERY good job of keeping you away. However they require a ton of energy to keep up constant barrages, little battery packs are positioned right next to the heart of the main body. They aren't to sturdy. Destroying those makes this behemoth not-so-impossible. Afterwards, try to find an optimal position and attack. But be careful, it's not just going to sit there and let you blow it up, even without the defence turrets. It may try to pull some surprises on you if you keep the heat on it. (expert)

WARNING: You WILL die alot on your first try, but once you get the hang of his weapons, he's still very difficult, just more managable.

Do you have the 5-22 version of Fraxy? If not, it probably won't work, since there are weapons not present in the older versions...

5-22 is the version that adds slow-ray, remote blast, and scripting right?

If so, I have it.
