K so I got one for my bday, also got a watch and a wallet, so now I need games and all that jazz. Since I know jack shit about it. I also need an effin wireless network adapter though so that sucks, because I has no money because college is FUCKING EXPENSIVE FUCKING SHIT. So I can't go live. So games? Accessories? What should I get? What should I know? Oh and I got the regular xbox 360, not the elite or the arcade, and I also got gears and devil may cry 4.

As LN3uq said, get Bioshock. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is good. It's simple and short, but it's quite addicting.

Crackdown is worth buying.
GTA 4, it's fun until you complete it.
Assassins Creed, gets repetitive but is another good buy.
Turok. This game I was positive was shit. I played it and it isn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be. Sure, it's annoying and the dinosaurs are all easily killed. But the game is definitely challenging.

To be honest, I can't think of many games that I used to or still do play offline. I'm usually always online.

I finished the game in a day and have 3 achievements left to get.
I didn't buy it because it was Star Wars, I bought it because it looked like an alright game. I think it's being rated too much by the fact it's a Star Wars game that is like a bent jigsaw piece that doesn't fit.

I still say go and buy it. Just start on the hardest difficulty.

Enchanted Arms is a good replacement for FF until it's released.

Get a new ethernet cord, and if you can't get a long one, get one average sized and a connector to connect the two together.

Even if you aren't a Halo fan, the trilogy is needed for any 360 owner.
