When I try and sign on to xbox live, I can't get online. So I test the connection and when it gets to MTU it fails, saying that it has timed out. I'm not really sure what to do, and their online support is worthless (it told me to power cycle and then make sure my router is compatible).

It may just be part of this whole update business, but seeing as how it is now past 12:00 and they said it would be up withing 24 hours, I'm beginning to doubt that. Also, rather than have a failure at the MTU, I would expect it to fail at the actual part where it says XBOX Live.

Anyone have a clue?

Apperently it's been happeneing to a lot of other people. It probably is due to the update, same thing happened to me. Just try it again later.

Update causes this, I imagine. And I'm pretty sure midnight is based off of pacific time, where microsoft headquarters are. It's only 9:47 here
