puinkey, doesn't matter, you can achieve the same thing in maya, but it's just what interface you like to work with.

I tried Maya once..
I accidentally closed a tools box and I was not able to find out how to open it again.

So I uninstalled it.
The only 3D program that I ever mastered was Swift 3D
