Same. But I know loads of people who use it and don't complain.

By the way, isn't there an Internet viewer called 'Safari'?
I'm pretty sure only Macs have it, but knowing the internet there might be a way to get it for a normal computer. Even then i cant tell you much about other than it opens windows in lightbox form.

i cant really tell you too much about it though.

i think its funny how youre saying that it isnt safe because its popular, but we should get opera. by doing this, youre making opera popular and not as safe.
you lose.

Because the amount of redirects that will be generated from comments on this, and other such forums will be enough to skyrocket Opera to a prestigious enough position in the kingdom of browsers for all those evil hackers that edit Myspace pages and live under your bed to take note and begin writing inhumanly sophisticated megaviruses just to spite Opera users.

You act as if how safe a browser is can be quantified into a statistic directly proportional to the amount of users. Like every 100 new users causes the browser to become 0.000735% less safe.

And besides, whether or not you get viruses is dependent on how smart the computer user is, not the software. An idiot using Firefox and all the antivirus programs he can afford is going to manage to do more damage to a computer than a smart person with IE.

For me, I hate IE because it's 50x slower than a slug crawling backwards.

the point of this thread was "is firefox still safe even though it has a billionkajillion downloads?" he said no and that everyone should use opera, but if youre trying to make opera more popular, it will make it less safe according to his logic.

Was I talking to you? Dipshit. That was not your opportunity to try and jump in and say something funny. You failed miserably.

A few weeks ago, my friend who plays Final Fantasy Online, there was someone on the server who sent out something, so that everyone with IE as their default browser, would automaticly download some virus and infect their computer and **** it up, i think by making it shutdown forever or something.

Funny thing is, a few days before that, I converted him to Operaism.

So he didn't get shit.
