Not just cause I play it, but football is really hard. Mentally and Physically. Your coach rarely tells you something good when you're obviously good, juuust to set you off a little on the inside some more. The excersise is hard work. If you do one thing wrong, you do it again if you're being coached properly, and all the discipline you need to go through. And when you play a game, you're risking every body part you have just to win.

But Lacrosse is definitely up there.. I never played it, but I know its not easy..

Swimming isn't for fags, nor do I swim for my school but I know it hurts when you first start. It's hard work.

Track: Depends, 100m = speed, Mile = endurance (somewhat speed), Hurdles, well, some power, speed. Track is definitely not the hardest, because for each event, you need only a few things. I have to admit though, high jump can get pretty hard.

Swimming, IMO, is harder than running and jumping. There's something to actually push through, there's more strokes, and takes more timing and technique.

Lacrosse can get pretty hard as well. It's more of a free sport, so you don't exactly need too much endurance, but it sure as hell takes skill.

Soccer = Skill, maneuvering, sometimes power, and foot-eye coordination, not to mention timing, really, I think soccer is the at least one of the hardest sports. Not only to master, but to get good at it. You have to be extremely good with your feet, and you can't use your hands, you're "disabling" the part of your body that would make this sport 50 times easier, now it's just dang hard. You need to know your strength and time it just right so you can get the ball in the clutches of your feet, and to shoot it to your teammates' feet, without making it fly up in the air too much.

Hello SPP. I thought I'd make my first post in quite some time be a debate starter. I haven't seen this topic on the forums yet, but if it has recently been made, be sure to tell me and I'll lock it.

Onto the debate topic, being: Which ATHLETIC sport do you find to be the "hardest"?

Of course by saying hardest, I mean:
-Requires most skill.
-Requires most endurance and strength.
-The practices in the sport require to be strong and the more hard working.

I bring this topic up because more sports, and the people who play it, are not only ignored, but underestimated for their work. Swimming/Track, Lacrosse, and Gymnastics are examples of sports which are much less recognized than Basketball, Football, or Soccer.

I am a varsity swimmer for my school, and everybody in my high school thinks that it is the "easiest" or "gayest". (Mostly the wrestlers). I would like to know what this community thinks about the hardest sports.

If you think about it, Swimming down a 25 yard pool 4 times, or running around a 1/4 mile track 4 times may look even easy to another person. If you think about it more, you may realize that swimming down that 25 yard pool 4 times can be extremely hard depending upon the stroke you do. I swim the Butterfly Stroke for my school, and from personal experience I can tell you that it
takes a lot of strength and endurance to do this. I may even say that it is the hardest sport based on the skill it really requires, but I would like your opinion.

Edit: Im in the District Championships this weekend. Ill give you guys a video on sunday or something.

Dude fuck them making fun of you. Swimming is a difficult sport that requires alot of stamina and skill. if i we're you i go to there house during there sleep, drug them, and drop every single one of them in a pool to drown to death.
