I would like to license my work so that others could not make profit from it Illegally/Unfairly.

I want my drawings and ideas for an anime to be copyrighted.
I'm from the UK [London]
Would anyone know, On line, where I could get my work all licensed? And is not too expensive, I am not rich >_>

If more than one link is posted I would take a look at them all. Feel free to post one, or some.

And yes I have looked on google but it IS hard to find a descent one.

it's profit, not prophet.

DeviantART has a creative commons license, I think, so you're fine with that. Though I can't imagine why you think it's worth spending money to keep other people from making money on a few flash drawings.

Yeah i changed that mistake, sorry.

And i don't think i recall saying it was flash drawings. I know you assumed it because you probably saw my flash drawing on DeviantArt, but no thats not it.

On the other hand, you are saying if I upload my images or whatever to DeviantArt then it will be safe?

You don't need to pay for licenses, last I checked. At least, not most of them. Copyright is free and automatic in the US.

After reading up on UK law:

  • Copyrights are automatically registered and free
  • Although not necessary, it helps to mark ©, your name, and the year on your works

Information from here:
http://www.ipo.gov.uk/copy.htm

Important sections:
http://www.ipo.gov.uk/copy/c-claim/c-auto.htm
http://www.ipo.gov.uk/copy/c-applies/c-art.htm
http://www.ipo.gov.uk/copy/c-manage/c-useenforce/c-useenforce-enforce.htmEnforcing

*Note*
If your drawings are of copyrighted work, such as popular anime characters, they fall under derivative works of that copyrighted work, and your rights to it may be limited.

Ah great.
I read them all. I guess, on my pictures I shall put the copyright sign and the date for protection.
Ans like the enforcing section said I could take it court if my work is used unfairly or whatever.

Thanks allot darkcampainger.
