Just a spur of the moment thought, I thought it would be interesting to debate.


Do you believe that sending illegal immigrants to serve in war or go back to their country would cut down on illegal immigration? Do you think it's wrong to not allow these people into a country? Do you think that this would be killing two birds with one stone?

If you're wondering, I have no opinion on this just yet.

I don't thinkn punishing them would work. Just because that if they're going to be illegal immigrants, than they must be running from something bad. So just having the risk of them leaving the just to run back again isn't going to solve anything. I don't think it would even dissuade others from crossing.

The thing that bothers me is that there are ways to immigrate legally, and they still have the nerve/are still assholes enough to do it the illegal way.

Punishment is useless, that would mean we would be spending tax money to put them in jail.

Sending them back, wellllll you can kind of guess what would happen there.

Sending them to Iraq would mean desertions, most likely, or interracial conflicts in the troops.

The only solution is obviously to create a piranha-infested lake between us and Mexico.

That's why you make Mexican only troops and have them get watched over by robutts.

That's the same as sending them back to their country anyway.

yeah great idea, send a bunch of foreign citizens we obviously can't identify at this point to defend our country. does anyone actually support this? i've never heard of it.

We only let so many people legally immigrate per year, I think. It's very hard to immigrate legally, ridiculously hard.

I don't think sending them to their grave's in Iraq will solve much. I think maybe a giant net across the whole U.S. border will do the trick.

Meh, the US soldiers don't do that much, the way I see it, it's like 10 months of laziness and then a bunch of action..the Mexicans would love it.

That was an incredibly insensitive and horrible post about the proud and hard working Mexican people. I will remind you that that they kicked Davy Crockett's ass. They also have those really cool hats.

Sending them into the military could only lead to disrimination for being non-citizens. Keeping them out is pretty much impossible unless you go extremely radical. Letting them in causes a problem with taxes and becomes a threat to national security. Any way you look at it, you're screwed. You simply must pick the least damaging and see how it turns out. However, I am not sure what the least damging is.
