Quickly done. The whole thing hasn't been scanned and it's my first time attemtping to use colours.
The only thing I like about it is the expression on the ice cream, but since I haven't posted anything in a while, I thought I might aswell put something up.
It's different to all my other stuff, I usually draw characters from games or movies or shows, unless I'm just messing about.
Anyway, comments would be swell.

View Profile I dont particularly like the anatomy of your monster. Try giving his face more definition, making his lower jaw bigger (since the main point of this is him swallowing the scared ice cream, he should give the impression he is built around eating), and giving him more animalistic eyes. I know it is a cartoonistic drawing, but I see hints of trying to be surrealistic, so I think it would go more for what you want if you heeded my above advise.

View Profile The eyes are like that to make him look emotionless.
Also, I tried making the mouth look too big for the creatures head, in a cartoony way, that it's stretched.
I understand what you mean though, I took those into context but decided it'd be best to leave it out, since I thought it'd be somewhat ironic to have a heavily(ish) detailed face on the ice cream to some emotionless, wide-mouthed and wide-eyed expression on the creature.
Thanks for the comment.

View Profile I reallly like this style. Especially the way you made his saliva. The coloring is bland though and there's no shading at all. The cone is sloppy. But it's overall good.
Hopefully you won't forget about my Halloween collab. You have skills.

View Profile It started without colour. It was all done in average pencil. But it made it look too dark, which wasn't really what I wanted.
The drawing itself is rather big, I had to scan it in two parts and then put it together in paint. So I found it extremely annoying having to sharpen the pencil every few seconds.
I doubt I'll try colours again in the near future.
Thanks Mantha.
I'll join the Halloween collab, I just need an idea.
