Well I felt like making my own RPG so I decided to make one up about a story I have been writing up. First things first.
Rules:
1. You must post profiles of your character A.S.A.P. You don't have to put character descriptions at the start of your post but it is advisable that in the same post you introduce a character, you post their descripton in it somewhere.
2. Character profiles can include anything you think other people need to know about your characters but here is a rough guide.
Mandatory information:[Can be in any order]
Name:[Insert characters name here]
Description:[what your charater looks like,personality etc]
Gender[Male/Female/?????]
Age:[ Date of birth and current age]
Powers:[If your character doesn't have any just put N/A]
Natural abilities:[eg agile, acrobatic,strong etc]
Nationality:
Background:[ Information about the character past, how they became what they are today etc]
Opitional Infromation[These are just ideas. You can add extras if you feel like it but only if you want to]
Interests:[Music, video games whatever]
Favourites:[Colour etc]
etc etc etc etc etc etc
3. Decent grammer is a must in this thread. It would really suck if you spent an hour writing a good part of your story and nobody could understand it because it's full of mistakes.
4. Jump in were you can. If their is a opening for your charater(s) to enter, use it! It gets rather boring if you just sit on the sidelines making up your own story the WHOLE time.
5. NO KILLING OTHER PEOPLE'S CHARACTERS WITHOUT PERMISSON!!! ASK FIRST!
6. Please keep power housing to a small amount. I know everbody feels like having a kickass character that no-one can beat but it makes it boring and unfair. If you feel your charater is too strong try balancing it out with a weakness etc.
7. Think out all of your posts. Don't rush in with lots of boring posts. Were aiming for quailty not quanity.
8. When you need to say something out of dialoge put OOC: in front of it so people know that what your saying is not part of the story.
9. You can be anything you want to be. Be the bad guy! Be a alien! Be a giant evil monster! If you can think of something that seems good, run with it and try it out. If it doesn't work you call always try again!
Storyline: The year is 2550. Humanity is now a advanced race that spans across several planets with amazing technologies like space ships that can travel at the speed of light, advanced biological manpulation and anti-gravity. The invention of anti-gravity allowed humans to open wormholes and travel deep into uncharted space. What they discovered was amazing, another intellgent race of sentient beings, called The Seraga. At first humanity was peaceful allies with The Seraga but a several corrupt organizations and companies feed lies into the government. The Serage were acused of ploting to wipe out humanity and that started the 50 year long space war. Humans were at one point on the brink of extiction but a professer by the name of Professer Carl Douglass invented a way to use the advanced biology humans possesed to create mass war machines. He was funded by many willing rich companies and created The EBWO [The Experimental Biological Weapons Organization]. It's purpose? To choose anyone they wanted and turn then into gentic freaks of amazing power. At first they just used criminals, but they soon ran out of them. Because these genetic freaks were the only thing keeping the human race alive the goverment declared it a world wide emergency and gave them permisson to use whoever they wanted. The world is in a state of disspair and is on the brink of self destruction. Sombody needs to stop this maddness and save the world. That person just might be you.
--Start story--
It is a quiet clear night in Pasific city. Pasific city is a city relatively untouched by the war, if it weren't for the looming EBWO building in the center of the city, people here could forget about the wars for awhile.
Inside the EBWO Building, outside the alpha chamber
Guard:*Whistles* *Opens chamber door and walks in* Yawn! What a boring shift. I wish something interesting would happen.
*Guard walks up to the control panel in the middle of the room and pushes a few buttons*
Computer: Checking vital signs of test chamber alpha's test subjects.
Alpha unit 00-01 status normal,
Alpha unit 00-02 status normal,
Alpha unit 00-03 status normal,
Guard: Yawn! Why do I even bother checking?
Computer:
Alpha unit 00-04 status normal,
Alpha unit 00-05 status......... active
Guard: WHAT? ONE IS ACTIVE!
Computer: Warning, Alpha unit 00-05 reaching critcal energy levels. Increase sedative levels immedently.
*One of the glass tanks in the chamber starts to crack, and the test subject inside starts moving....*
Guard: Oh No! It's too late!
*The testsubjects eyes open and the glass tank shatters*
Guard: OHHHHH MY EYES!!! I CAN'T SEE!!
????: Believe me, it's probably a blessing.
*Outside the test chamber, all personel are on full alert*
Xenon: Great! A alpha test subjecy has escaped. Alpha test subjects are the best test subjects. It's gonna be tough!
* Xenon grabs a tracking device and dual pistols and starts looking for the test subject*
Name: Xenon Serena
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Nationality: Austrailan
Description: 5,8 white, long black hair and purple eyes. Tends to just wear dark jeans, a black shirt, black boots and a long leather jacket. Is a bit of a whinger but quiet as well. Her shyness hides a firey soul burning with passion and revenge, which she rarely shows.
Background: Lived in Queensland untill the Brisbane bombings forced her family to move to America. She joined the miltary at a early age and has trained hard all her life, so she may one day get revenge for her childhood home and some of her closest friends being taken away from her. Top marks and exellent skills saw her put at a important EBWO site as a security officer.
Powers: None as of yet!
Natural Abilities: Is fast and acrobatic and posess a good knowlage of firearms.
