I'm making a platformer for a competition at school, and this is what I have so far. Most of the graphics, especially the player, are jsut placeholders, but the main thing I focused on was the physics.

I like when you walk on water it makes that noise.

You can wall jump around which is cool. Although, the "character" needs work.

It's just a place-holder image. The final sprite will be far better.

i'm not much into platformers where you move blocks around, and im more of a fan of mario-like jumping mechanics, but its good.

Agreed, but i don't know how i ended up with a block on my head..
