Brian: Rather than 'kicks are choppy', tell him to add more frames between the existing ones.

Explosions need work? Perhaps explaining what he should work on would be helpful. Such as the spikes coming out the top and the quick dissipation.

No offense to any of you, but we need to start posting more constructively. If you're more skilled than the person you're critiquing, you have an obligation to help them out, even if just to correct one part of their walk cycle or explosion or whatever.

I agree with OG thoroughly.

The explosion was terrible. The spikes made it even worse. My advise is go look at some real explosions (you tube etc) and mimic how they explode.

The kicks were better than the explosion but still horrid. Try making him stand normally, then go up, do the kicks then land again. Add more frame between kicks so that it's easier to see whats going on.

Wobbly line and circle thing? Sorry guys but I got nothing. -.-"

Everything happens to quickly, and it is all very stiff. Keep at it, and try different things until you have the hang of drawing frames.

Lol I can properly animate kicks , I was just checking out the program.
I will most likely not use easytoon further, for I have obtained flash 8.
However your advice will not go unchecked.

lol, but seriously make another one sometime, if you can. And hell, we could make that one big Flash animating tutorial you had in mind. If you didn't completely lose hope, that is.

And Mannequin, the Easytoon and Flash sections are both more welcoming and helpful than the Pivot section. Or at least we try to be.
