A break from the materialistic Mainstream rap, and the very often self congratulatory and uninspiring underground hip hop, Panacea is a progressive hip hop duo consisting of MC Raw Poetic and Producer K Murdock. Their music is usually characterized as A Tribe Called Quest meets Final Fantasy, with rich non bass dominated beats often featuring warm major chords and lyrics that dwell from fantasy storytelling to reminiscing childhood memories.

So far they've released 3 albums, which have been tight, but what's really original was their new one called The Scenic Route. It's basically a musical narration where the whole album follows this awesome story, which is hard to summarize without making it 3 pages long. Here's a song for The Scenic Route:
