FINALLY!
Someone with an utterly unique style.
You are going to be famous. For your style.
Most beginners copy Terkoiz's style or something.

EDIT:
[swf=http://www.fileize.com/files/a0b4bc04/e66/Moe_Demo_WIP.swf] width=600 height=300 [/swf]
Working on my new RHG demo. CnC on the effects, please.
The first ones are fire (adding particles later) and then lightning (adding particles later) and lastly, water (yes, I know it starts behind the stick, because the stick is a symbol so I could add the glow, I'll correct that when I make the water a symbol)

why do about 80% of all you stickman animators Use the same Terkoiz - Stance? There're so many 100s of cool ones... it gets kinda annoying seeing the same thing from every animator. Anyway, My cnc...

The blood effects aren't the real issue here, you showed no anticipation on your moves, and it was kinda chopy. I say, you should focus on adding more frames, and working with anticipation. The background was nice, and I did see an attempt on Anticipation on the orange dude, but you just double framed it once, so it didnt work all that well. Keep ad it buddy :)!

actually i wasnt going fora terkoiz stance because i love terkoiz but i dont really love his style im always trying out different tools and sizes this was made with the pencil and i have been told i tend to be choppy

The movements could be smoother with more easing.
Force could be displayed in the punches by showing recoil in the movements.

I really liked it allot, very cool.

other wise,
I have this combo here:

Well, I'm guessing this is the place for me to post this (please tell me if I'm wrong). Since I just recently got Flash, I thought I'd start out small and simple-ish. Took about a day to make.

I'm hopefully going to use it for an RHG sometime. Quick explanation is a guy who can manipulate light and darkness. The rain and floating earth platform were just fun to mess around with. :D

Image

So, how'd I do?

Edit: Here it is at 200% size. The quality isn't as good because it messed a few parts up when resizing, but you can see the animation itself better ;)
200% (Click to Show)

Edit 2: I just finished this animated logo. It's based on my emblem in Halo (Cog with Crosshairs). I think it turned out pretty well, though it made the guys head a little blocky when I published it..

I'm back again after a year or so :)

That looks pretty sweet Plasmoidknight, welcome to our forums aswell ;)!, I like the floor, but I reckon that you dind't make that :L? if I may advise, you could try using a smaller line for the rain? and perhaps make it go sideways, as if there's wind or something :), but then again.. that's just what I think :p, and if you want to make it epic make some water 'hits/uprising' on the floor, where the rain falls on the floor, that'd be really cool (when done properly.)
and the logo, well it looks pretty good, not really much to say about it ^^ but then again, I'm not expert, so other people might.

I've started animating again, this is a little test I did to get the basics down again, my main problems I have during animatin is resizing (I use a tablet) and showing 'force' like, show that something is really powerfull instead of just a movement.. I tried adding it with the 'ground shake' but that dind't work out quite as I planned :L

Thanks FT. And I actually did make the platform. ;) I used to be quite involved in the Pokemon spriting community (yeah, yeah), so I'm pretty decent at smaller graphics. And the rain is already down to 1 pixel wide, but I could make it a lighter color. Having the rain fall at an angle and then adding splashes are great ideas, thanks. I'll definitely try those out sometime. :D

I think your test looks pretty good. The stick guy himself could be smoothed out a bit, but the animation itself is spot on. ;) I'd love to see you do a full scene.

Thanks Pknight, I appreciate it :p

Haha, pokemon spritess...... tsss, haha I'm kidding :p I kinda like those 'sprite pixel thingys' but I'm personally really good at it..
I'd love to see more from you aswell, also.. did you know you that '1 pixel' isn't the smallest? using the line tool, you can bring it down to 0,25! ;D
you know how to get to the line tool properties?

I actually made the rain in Paint.net (free graphic editor), so the thinnest I could get there was 1 pixel wide. However, you've got to keep in mind that I published the animation as a GIF, and GIF files can't have anything smaller than 1 pixel in length/width.

And right now I'm working on a demo for an RHG. It's still taking me a while to get used to, but I think it's turning out pretty well. You'll definitely see it when I'm finished. ;)

I know it's tempting to jump right into your dream anims and cinematics but start with walk cycles and combos.

I've tried a few walk cycles - I'm not that good but I'm improving. I've not tried any combos yet, thanks for the advice - I may be rushing things a bit.
