Any criticism is appreciated

Tell me what i need work on :)

Starting out with a fight scene isn't too good to start. Start out with the most basic things, easing tests, to experiment out your easing. And ball bounces, to let you know more about easing and gravity. Do more of these and you will surely improve in no time.

Hey guys i'm pretty new here so what do you think about my animation?

That was pretty good, but it was very stop-and-go. Try a combo where all the moves flow together, not hit then stop and hit and stop. You will be great in animating if you keep it up.

Im new too and I have the same kind of animating style

(not finished)

That was really nice. I see that you were inspired by Hyun's tutorial, which a lot of people were inspired off. The effects were a plus, but I don't really recommend you animate effects this early. Your stick construction needs some work, try to draw each limb individually, not just draw one stroke has the whole body. You have potential, but don't try things which is too out of your capabilities. Look up some tutorials and keep experimenting!

Lol idky but this was supposed to be submitted in my graphic arts class but turns out I couldn't use flash instead I had to use photoshop. Jeez photoshop is so damn crappy. It's like forcing to eat Hijikata's Mayo Dishes. Well any critiques is appreciated; I know first hand most of the things I did was wrong I just need to know what I should learn for improvement.

Nice, try to ease more and do some longer combos. I can't give you too much of a criticism because that was short. I want to see more from you(Which doesn't include 3 second for texts lol)

That was good, but one thing that you have to keep focus on is your stick construction. It wobbles a lot and doesn't look too good. Draw each limb individually, the head, the arms, the torso and the legs. Try to draw 3 stick figures doing the same pose.

Always continue animating. Sometimes, we all will go like "Screw this shit I'm quitting animation!". I've been through that before. But really, continue animating. Nobody becomes great after 1 week of animating. If you keep animating, you'll be a great animator.

I've actually done some easing and watched the easing tutorial on stickpage, and i did a couple ball bounces, and i've done punching tests to get my easing better and i've improved dramatically, you can actually see the punches, and they actually look like punches, i'll get it uploaded once i'm done, because this will be my like 5th practice of fighting.

P.S thanks for the tips

just wanted an opinion before i continued... is that too fast?

if you can't read all the hits which are Punch-Punch-Block-Punch-Punch-Kick-Punch (Last punch is 2 frames at end so i doubt it's noticeable) then i'm gonna need to add a couple of double frames or some easing so that it looks slightly slower

It was indeed too fast and lacking in easing and your footing needs to be more stable.
he shouldnt slide as he is delivering hits.

Here's a quick short I made with a bit of combat and a rather lazy grapple hook. There's a bit of a problem when the watchtower guard is lifted out by the basket, but otherwise I could use some criticism.

thanks, i've remade it basically and i've tried to make the footing more stable but i'm finding it difficult, it still looks as if his feet aren't stable, (I re-draw each frame).

i'll finish it off again and post it in abit
