Okay highlight the colour tool, hold alt and press F4, then you need to select the colour of the text (In this case invisible you don't want any colour so just press ok) and then you'll need to choose the text to apply this too.

e3e3e3 is close enough, but you'll have that empty feeling of knowing that it's not 100% invisible.
