@cinnamon: well, let's start with the run loop. adding a floor will help you keep track of the guy's foot placement. when his back foot leaves the floor, his whole body should move up a bit. when the foot moves forward, it should bend more. as it gets near the front, the leg should extend to it's fullest and the body should be descending. when the foot hits the ground, the body should absorb the impact by bending forward slightly. as the leg moves back, it should remain rather straight, but slight bending is okay. at the moment where the leg leaves the floor, it should straighten.
