Oh, thanks for clarifying the definition of stiffness. :)

But the back moves at least a little every single frame.. The little orange ball doesn't, but the back joints do.

it doesn't. And he knows what he's talking about don't argue.

I know he knows what he's talking about, the argument was to expand my knowledge, after all, I have a noob factor of ovar 9000. I appreciate and respect the CC FoShizzle gave me.

But. I made the animation. I looked over it frame by frame. Each frame the back moves at least a little bit. Except for one, the lower back joint stays put when the others still move margianally. Oh wait. It was a couple.

Edit:

LOL dude
what foshizzle means is the lower back joint. that should move as well in order to reduce stiffness.
because a person moves every part of their body while running, whereas yours just moves the upper back, whereas you need to whole back to move?
if this IS what foshizzle means then I hope it makes sense man

When you run, your whole body moves. Not only your higher back and shoulders -.-

its ok
but first, its not clear what happened. make sure theres a clear distinction between super speed and slow mo. like, do the super speed. fade out then do slow mo or SOMETHING
the anim itself is a bit choppy and some parts are uneased as well as the physics of the guy were a bit weird. slow mo is hard because if not done right it just looks stupid, so try not to do that for now. trust me i tried its pretttttty tough.
but i suggest you take a look at zeds easing tut and in his beginners one, he posts a link for a good tut on physics go check it out :D

how did you make it in your anima that while he's running he's always in one point and how did you make it so that it seems that he's running for ever?

hes asking how you looped it
no. Now he just looks like hes a bit a of a retard. uh, heres a BETTER run.
its not great but you'll get a better idea of what i mean. cuz the LOWER back is STILL not moving. if you're not gonna move it at least make it LOOK like its moving.

also, the arms don't look like they're crossing, neither do the legs. Make the ones that are closer to the screen/camera view move SLIGHTLY farther forward than the ones that are supposedly farther from the screen. this applies to legs and arms. it helps give it perspective :D

lol gif raped. try using trueuploader.com or something

Maybe that's why they aren't good. It should take you 20 minutes to make nice test with easing and smoothing. But it took you 10 minutes to make 4 animations, that lack easing and are very stiff.

This fits so perfectly.

Make animations or go to the art section, wich will not be happy.

I wouldn't use cronos's run as a normal walk, for that specifically is called a funky walk. There's a reason behind that name.
