@thatkid: Do something much simpler to start with so that you can get the movements right.
Here is a massively over-exaggerated example of a loose run slightly slowed down. By and large you want to copy the arms and legs, although the main upper body will inevitably be stiffer because at full speed you have less frames to play with.

You're using easing the wrong way. Unless they're fighting on ice, what would happen is that he might bounce if he hits the ground hard, not slide that far. What you should ease, though are the movements, those punces at the beginning. You're not using enough frames for them.

It's a nice idea, but I think you need to work on the basics. Learn easing and try things like a ball bounce, a simple walk, or similar.
