GunMetal, I would say work on the basics before trying more advanced stuff like this. I do like how you did the blood, and the shots were timed nicely, but I would try things like walking, running, jumping, then go on to falling, flipping, etc. Then incorporate items, like guns.

Then you can combine shooting, falling, and your blood that you did, and have a nicer animation.

Good luck. It's a long road. :D
