So right now with 21% of the vote in it looks like gay marriage will be banned in California with the vote being 54% for yes and 46% for no so far. THIS SUCKS.

In my opinion, prop 8 is a crock of shit. However, as an American I will always stand by the voice of democracy and by the law, and therefore I must recognize what the people have chosen in California. BUT IT PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH HOW WE GOT HERE. If you live in California, you know what I am talking about. The "Yes on 8" campaign has been one of the most shameful and full-of-bullshit campaigns I have ever seen in my life. They straight up lied to Californians in their advertisements and this is why Prop 8 is winning right now. I feel horrible that this is how Prop 8 is getting carried out. A huge injustice has happened today. IT PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH. I mean, I don't mind if people actually pick this, but it feels to me that people voted for this out of fear and lies and it makes me angry. AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Now the Californian Constitution will get amended and it will take years to reverse this (reversal IS inevitable). AAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Yeah, the prop 8 thing is shameful.

They used children (and other shady tactics) as sympathy card while removing rights from people. It's all a sleight of hand. Not to mention the amount of shear money and funding that was funneled to the prop 8 supporters from outside California.
