I was going to make this into an avatar because I don't like the one I have now... The smiley, it's my first one... and it actually creeps me out.

Problem is that I'm not sure how I should let the light in the room enough to see the person sitting there when it's on such a small scale. Any suggestions?

Well it's a first , my first was just as bad as this :\

Is it supposed to be slow motion ?
If it is gotta be slower , if not , it should be faster .
Try using a 2 pixel brush for stickman and 1 px brush for effects.

And I recomend finding other effects other than spiky trails :/

I think it looks fine for a beginner. the physics when the guy is falling are pretty nice. and good beaming.

The thing to work on is this: make your files extra biig, then size them down in fireworks (or something). then it will be easier to line up the last frame and the next frame, because it'll be big. and I know scribbles are easy, and mostly look good, flowing lines are just fine, too.
