I like using a blob. I might make a longer anim with him.

The movements were pretty good, but it lacked easing. Mostly when the stick was moving off screen. I don't know if the rules of easing would apply to your energy blast since it resembled Mewtwo's attack on Super Smash Bros. Melee, so I'm assuming that's the effect you're going for.
Just work on easing a bit. And try not to give your sticks necks.
