But there's Sparco/Pancake's Movement Help Thread on the second page. There's already some stuff on there that's helpful.

Lucky Joe- the one where the stick blows up needs work on the reactions, the explosion one seemed good except the source doesnt dissapear, I really like the picture, can I use it as a sig?
Jul 1, 2008 10:34 PM #173947
You want it as a sig?! Lol you might want to rethink cause I am making a new pic right now. Its actually the samething, but a differant backround. I will upload it latter some time, it also dosent have the city.
Here it is!

I might make another one with the city and the same backround

OK, here's two animations on PARTICLES and EASING; since most of you guys don't really understand the concept of either.
The most basic things-
-easing: the gradual slowing down or gradual speeding up
-particles: coincides with easing; the particles move and dissipate to ease
-pace: pace is used with easing to tell how fast or slow a particle will move, and the distance it will go before dissipating
Easing Basic:

Slower:

Particles after a wall bash:

Slowed down [notice the pace, easing, and direction of each particle]:

An explosion [Follow the particles, pace, and Easing (slowing down) of each]:

Again [Slower]:

Try doing that, then post it here, in the beginners section.

@Smallaballa-
It’s a pretty good improvement. Heres one thing about particles: particles tend to look like tiny grains or specs.
For an explosion particle, try looking at a rock, even though it’s a big object, the particles get smaller and smaller each you smash it. Whether it’s a grain of sand or a globule of blood, it will break into tinier pieces.
Most of the particles will spread out in the direction that the object hitting it is moving.
Here’s an example of that [The particles on right of the ‘touch point’ (or the ‘ping point’) travel right, the particles on the left are moving to the left of the ‘touch point’, and the particles in the center region above the ‘touch point’ are moving up. The areas in between each angle move, well, at angles between each angle.

Before I leave stickpage for some time, I might as well post the picture Ive been working on. It took me a good hour to make so enjoy it, cause im not going to be here for some time. Only because I am working on my animating skills and I'm saving money for Flash.
It was hard because I had to remake it 3 times. The shading was a pain. And I had to remake the city 14 times because I used the wrong color.
