And I do miss watching an Australian guy teach you how to do elaborate art projects that you would never actually have the time/resources/patience to do yourself, and even if you tried it would never look as good as his example.

Yet somehow it was entertainment.

The Animation Attack section allows art competitions, too. But I guess if it had a sub-forum devoted to art only, it would be a bit more organized.
